between 12/12 & 18/12.
For a roof pitch
less than 12/12 add 5% of cost for every 1 inch difference. Example: 8/12
add 20% to cost.

Copper Finial Details:
Measuring for a Copper Finial:
- The proper size of a finial will mainly depend
on the scale of the structure you would like to add the finial
to. The finials average weight is 15 pounds so support is usually
not a huge factor like it is for our cupolas. The height of the
product is based on your desire, however a one-story home would
usually have at least a 10" x 10" x 48" finial. An elevated
one-story home or a two-story home would usually have at least a 12"
x 12" x 60" finial.
- Please provide roof pitch when ordering.

General Instructions for Installing a Copper
Finial:
-
Standard Gem Top
Copper Finials, Chicago Ridge Copper Finials, and Classic Ball Copper Finials
must be modified on site to match roof
pitch.
- Use clean, protective gloves when handling and
installing copper finials, copper turrets, copper spears, and copper
spires.

Use typical roofing
sheers, cut the center of the base of the finial based on the
following chart:

- Cut each corner approximately ½”.
- Bend back the ridge flap and attach to the
ridge.
- Bend the ridge flap so the base of the copper
finial is flush with the roof.
- Attach finial to roof with sheetrock screws.
